Lawrence,

Dr. John Debenedictis, U.C. Davis: jadebenedictis at ucdavis.edu reared a micro from this host. It is in the Yponomeutidae, in a genus near Zelleria. We were unable to come up with a specific name for this and other Zelleria-like species reared from ash and other hosts from Oregon south in California.

Does anyone have any records for micros utilizing Fraxinus dipetala as a foodplant? I've raised an interesting micro from dipetala leaves collected near Arroyo Seco, Calif. It looks somewhat lika a Scythriid, but has a tuft on the head. The wings are black, grey and reddish. Also in Monterey County, near Moss Landing, I collected a Mompha larva on Camissonia micrantha and reared it to an adult which appears to be different from the Mompha which is found on Camissonia cheiranthifolia, which grows on the dunes along with micrantha.
