Thanks everyone for the information.  Sounds like an input problem (or lack 
thereof)that could be resolved with some communication if those county 
records exist.  I'm glad it was also mentioned that the project involves 
other wildlife; I'll be interested in checking that out.  I don't know much 
about how county records are determined in the leps field.  In determining 
state and county records for trees, for example,  local organizations work 
with the state Dept of Natural Resources here to come up with county and 
state records.  The DNR then publishes a statewide, by county, list of 
record trees.  How is this usually done for leps?
