Ron this has nothing to comment about your innocent but rather
interesting descriptive use of the word Amish. I never heard it used as
an adverb before. Several times in the past I have done butterfly
gardening lectures for the Pennsylvania Game Commission in the heart of
Amish in PA. They always scheduled two nights because the very large
hall could not accommodate the standing room only crowds which were
predominately Amish. This had nothing to do what so ever with my
speaking ability but due to the fact that they were very interested in
butterflies. Granted I did explain that the big green caterpillars with
that red thing on the back end was indeed the tobacco hornworm many many
times in two days, but they are quite fond of butterflies.
