Pat, I think some would say you have attacked the integrity
of the thousands of individuals and scientists that work in private 
industry.

Now look what happens if we change one word in what you wrote:

"UNIVERSITY intellectual efforts are a real mixture of
 excellence, fraud and opportunistic dishonesty."

If I were to make that claim many would say I had
attacked the integrity of thousands of individuals and 
scientists that work in our Universities.

A double standard.
