butterflies and orchards

Hi all. I am looking for any info; journal, reports, unpublished
observations, etc. on the topic of the effects (known and speculative) of
pesticides/herbicides use in orchards on butterflies in adjacent areas.
Please drop a line with any info or thoughts you wish to share. Thank you -
the specific issue that prompts me to delve into this general topic and do
some quick learning is the question of what effects orchard chemicals may
have on Satyrium behrii living in Purshia tridentata habitat adjacent to
fruit orchards in southern BC, Canada. Even knowing what chemicals are
normally used would be a helpful start ---
