Field trips for Collecting or Watching -- how about both at the same time!

Watch them because I don't want to feel guilty if I catch them.  Catch them
because I don't get a clear enough ID by watching them (and it's fun). But
what if someone is looking?!?!

Wish we had the equivalent of the DCLS in Northern CA.

Ya know, enjoying the beauty of Butterflies and Moths just wasn't that
stressful when I was a kid.  I watched 'em and raised 'em.  Some I couldn't
catch so they moved on and I enhanced my stream jumping and rock hopping
skills.  Some I caught to identify and then let go.  Some are still sitting
in a Riker mount 35 years later.  That's a lot of years fighting the
Dermistids!  Hey, that's kind of stresssful now that I think of it...
