To follow up on Eric's note, here are the citations of Hemming's
writings on Hubner:

Hemming, A. F. 1936. On the identity and systematic position of eight
species of Rhopalocera described by Jacob Hubner in his Der Schmetterlinge
Lepidoptera Linnei, [1790] - [1793]. Proc. R. ent. Soc. Lond.
(B)5(6):121-124 [good background info. but Hubner's Lepid. Linnei is now
considered unpublished for nomenclatural purposes]

Hemming, A. F. 1937. Hubner. A bibliographical and systematic account of
the entomological works of Jacob Hubner. London, Roy. Ent. Soc. 2
Volumes, 1:i+xxxiv, 1+605pp; 2: i+xxi, 1+274pp.

Best,

Andy
