speckled wood

I thought it was about time, and indeed it was. I am happy to report 
that the Green-veined White, Pieris napi, has found a dancing companion, 
and that the Speckled Wood, Pararge aegeria, is dandling the Dandelions 
in my back garden.
The lilac is well budded out, and I brought in some branches to force. 
Fuschia has a few flowers, some open, and the rowan is well budded and 
just flowering. Ash and copper beech leaves have not yet spread, but 
they're thinking about it.
No hail today. Yet.
