I don't think subscribing to Leps-l has anything to do with the spamming from Asian countries. I stopped my subscription to Leps-l many many months ago because of all the personal attacks and jabber unrelated to Lepidoptera. I now read Leps-l, from time to time, through the newsgroup because I don't want my mailbox full of _______. I still get all the Korean spam, but it is polite and quickly deleted.

BTW, I noticed a sudden return to civil talk of Lepidoptera right after one person really got after this group for the juvenile (or larval) behavour. A pleasant turn of events.

The weather in Columbus Ohio is cool with clear skys. We have more than our share of rain the past few weeks. No one can keep up mowing their lawns.

17 of the 31 email messages waiting for me had chinese characters in the
subject line. This is getting to be quite a lot. Where are they coming
from? Is anyone else getting this much spam? Could it be coming from
subscribing to Leps-L?
