Nikon Coolpix

I've got a Nikon Coolpix 5000. I've had it about a year and I've used it to copy slides (OK for those old family pix but not as high quality as a good scanner). I've held it in place by retrofitting my old enlarger stand above one eyepiece of a binoc scope and photographed external grasshopper genitalia and other details. I found just leaving the white balance at auto works better than trying to adjust for the lighting. Later, I spruce it up on Photoshop Elements. It really does focus at about an inch. I love this camera!
