Jorge, you are just too reasonable :-)  Yes, this and other approaches
work.  Thread Announcement is a good idea.  I'd subscribe to a list serve
that just put out a list of threads on many related list serves.  One could
just get in on what they wanted and let the rest pass.   It could be called
"Abstracts in abstracts"
