melissa blue life history

Does anyone out there know how many larval instars there are in L.
melissa (sspp other than samuelis)? Samuelis is reported to have 4. I
reared melissa melissa many years ago but I don't recall the details and
can't find any record of observation. The question was raised by Robert
Dirig in an email that got forwarded to me.
