Friends,

A new optical instrument designed especially for looking at butterflies and called a Macroscope will hit the market in two weeks, It can be seen and ordered via www.closetoinfinity.com (7 x 40, $149).

This monocular focuses from infinity down to 18 inches using a very unique side focusing wheel and is like using a macro lense without the need for a camera AND without the need to get right up on the subject. At six feet the view is macro size.....simply fantastic for viewing butterflies indoors and out, live or mounted.

Do take a look. If you have questions, just ask away off list.

Thanks and sorry for the commerciality. This is a very, very special instrument, however, and worth possibly breaking protocol here!

Cheers,
