Hi,

Blacklight fluoresecnt bulb is what you want.  They come in two
varieties, bl (kinda a blue light) or bbl (very dark blue).  For a
public program you want a bl because it gives off more white light so
the participants can see what comes to the light.  Also, bl cost about
1/3 the price of bbl.

Blacklights come in a variety of sizes and wattages, from 8 watt to 40
ww.  The standard is a 15 watt 18 " fluorescent bulb.  I use this bulb
all the time for public programs and they give excellent results.

If your dealer does not have it in stock, it can be ordered, and
BioQuip.com also sells them.
