Here is a fun one I would like to share with you.  I collected this neat
aberration of Cercyonis pegala the other day.  I've seen a lot of male
pegala over the years and this is the first one like this I have come

At first glance this looks like colored patches.  But looking closely, form
the posted pictures, this is a case of missing scales.   This is a striking
example of this type of aberration.   I have an Euptychia sosybia with the
same pattern.
