Hello evefryone,
Several people have responded with the Hodges number for Nascia acutella,
but I believe this is a separate native species. Sclerocona acutella is
similar in apearance to N. acutella, but is a recent arrival from Euroipe
that is now established in the northeast. Dave Wagner wrote a paper on it
in last year's Lep Soc journal, but I don't have access to it.
So unless I am terribly mistaken, and this really is a case of syunonomy,
I'm still looking for the Hodges number for Sclerocona acutella.
hugh
