This apparently was the first Urania leilus record for Guadeloupe...

A Urania sp. was observed, but not caught last year in Martinique.
But it's completely new for Guadeloupe and has to be added to our catalogue.
The photographer in Guadeloupe wrote to me for identification of this
moths, saying that is very common by now throughout Basse Terre.
Probably a migrating movement, related a huge weather instability ?
Just wait a few month to observe the establishment of this species in
Guadeloupe.
