The elusive cabbage white

A student at Univ. Arizona is interested in obtaining live Pieris rapae from
several populations for an experiment on butterfly learning.  Recent collecting
trips at regular field sites have been a bust due to bad weather.  Are there
any recent sightings of 5 or more individual P. rapae at a site within 8 hours
driving distance of Tucson, AZ, for instance the San Diego or Yuma areas?
