Hugh, Brian, et al,

     Even here in north GA, we don't see this species until mid to late 
summer at the earliest, so I don't think it is resident even here.  As 
Brian indicated, this species is variable in its abundance from year to 
year, but it doesn't surprise me that *this* year is the year Hugh has 
encountered it, because it has been (and still is) *abundant* here this 
fall.  No doubt this was a banner year for the species, and I wouldn't 
be surprised if other "northern" leppers have seen this species this 
year.
