Red Admiral Invasion Year in Great Lakes States

I have been busy for the last several weeks tracking the course of this migration, and mapping Red Admiral presence and migratory activity at the Red Admiral and Painted Lady Research Site.  This migration has been broad and extensive, with moderate to high numbers of butterflies and definite northward migratory flights observed from western Iowa to southern Quebec and Massachusetts.
