* A NOTICE FROM THE FISHMAN FOUNDATION FOR YIDDISH CULTURE REGARDING 2009
GRANT APPLICATIONS*

   The Fishman Foundation for Yiddish Culture invites grant applications
for NEW projects that aim at strengthening Yiddish among children and
adolescents, particularly in the USA. The deadline for applications
requesting funds during 2009 is October 13, 2008. Applications must be IN
Yiddish and must adhere to the "application Guidelines" as detailed on our

   Projects are judged on a competitive basis.
