To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:
1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.

3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has
posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Subject: Yiddish Books for sale
I'm in the process of purchasing a number of interesting Yiddish books, part
of a good-sized collection that recently belonged to one Yaacov Shulman,
from Baltimore Books, who are selling the collection on his behalf. It
includes a volume of poetry by Abraham Sutzkever which is signed by the
author along with a hand-drawn picture. You can find the books in the
Yiddish section on the website, www.bookshopbaltimore.com and/or contact the
always helpful Susan Sonenthal on bookshopbaltimore at yahoo.com
Please do not use the "reply" key when responding to Personal Notices &
Announcements. Instead, write directly to the person or organization
posting the material.
New material for Mendele Personal Notices & Announcements, i.e.
announcements of events, commercial publications, etc., always in plain
text (no HTML or the like) to:
