We invite you to join us in commemorating the second yortsayt of Dr. Mordkhe

Schaechter  Sunday, February 22, 2009, 6:30 pm, at the Young Israel Ohab Zedek, 6015

Riverdale Avenue, Bronx, NY, 10471.

 

In his memory we will hear a shiur in Yiddish by Dr. David Fishman, on the

topic: Eylu Ne'emorin Bekhol Loshn: Is Prayer in Yiddish Permissible?

Preferable?: A Halakhic-Historical Analysis.

 

A light supper will be served.

 

Directions: take the #1 train to 231st Street, and transfer for the #7 or

#10 bus to 261st Street; or take the express bus BxM1 or BxM2 to 261st

Street.
