3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has 
posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

I would like to know if I.I.Singer's son, Joseph, is still alive or if he 
has children, and how to get in touch with them, because I have 
translatate from yiddish to french I.I.Singer's "Derzeilungen" (Short 
stories, Farlag Matones, N.Y., 1949) but my editor cannot get the rights 
from the french agent.
