Mendele Personal Notices & Announcements
May 19, 2011
To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests:
1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance.
2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding, or attachments;and
write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line.
3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has
posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames.

Subject: YIDDISH PROGRAM ON INTERNET RADIO FROM SPAIN
YIDDISH PROGRAM ON INTERNET RADIO FROM SPAIN
Radio Sefarad is the Internet radio station of the Federation of Jewish
Communities of Spain. There is about one hour of daily programming (news,
culture...) in Spanish, and weekly programs in Hebrew, Ladino, French,
English (which I am in charge of) and, since the beginning of May, in
YIDDISH. The program is done by the head of YIVO in Argentina. Following
are instructions for accessing it:
Go to: www.radiosefarad.com
To hear the current program: In the right-hand column ("Programas
Semanales"). Click on
"A dish vinkl fun IWO in Argentine", and then on the title of the program.
To hear previous programs: In the left-hand column, go to "Otros
idiomas". In the drop-down menu, click on "A dish vinkl fun IWO in
Argentine". You will get a list of the current and previous programs.
Click on the one that you want to hear.
(You can also access programs in the other languages this way.)
