Search Announcement - open until March 31, 2008
The board of directors of the new Native Arts and Cultures Foundation 
would like to officially
announce the search for a founding president. The president will lead 
the foundation through the
start-up phase of operations, including establishing the office, hiring 
staff and developing
grantmaking programs. Fundraising activities will involve establishing a 
$15-25 million
endowment in the first five years.
Qualifications include: at least seven years of experience in nonprofit 
management experience
including supervision of personnel, proven success in fundraising with 
foundations, corporations
and individuals; master's degree or equivalent work experience; working 
knowledge of the tribes
and regional arts of the United States; ability to plan, organize and 
think strategically; Ability to
create and sustain partnerships; Highly organized and flexible in a 
dynamic environment; Strong
written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
