Please share this announcement with your students:

 

The Native American Community Leadership program at the Cook Leadership
School in Tempe, AZ has recently launched the Charles H. Cook leadership
award program.  The awards are a celebration of Indian student leaders who
are doing fantastic things for their communities through student clubs &
organizations, various types of public service, or through involvement with
school sports programs.  The awards carry a $500 honorarium.

 

There are two categories: Grades 5-12 and university/tribal
college/community college students

 

I realize that your community comprises mostly college-level students but I
will attach both application forms just in case someone has a family member
who would like to apply for the grades 5-12  award.

 

The attachments will provide all the information an applicant may need.  The
deadline is April 1.
