Lecturer in Native American Studies



University of California, Davis

Department of Native American Studies





The Department of Native American Studies at the University of California at Davis welcomes applications for its part-time lecturer pool in the area of Native American Studies for academic year 2008-2009.



Courses to be taught are:

      NAS 107 "Special Topics in Native American Languages", Spring 2009

     NAS 117 "Native American Governmental Decision Making," Winter 2009

     NAS 118 "Native American Politics," Spring 2009

     NAS 217 "Public Law 283-280: Colonial Termination," Winter 2009



Candidates should have a Ph.D. or JD in the areas of the social sciences, humanities, and legal studies.  College level of teaching experience preferred.  Salary will be dependent on candidate's training and experience.
