Hello,
We have a very large grizzly bear which was on display in what we found out to be less than desirable surroundings. We are concerned that it may have dermestid beetles and would like to fumigate it prior to bringing it back into the Collections Storage area.
My question is, what chemical(s) will actually kill the dermestid beetles? In the past we have used fumigants with Pyrethrins and Permethrin. We can no longer find a fumigant which has both chemicals, only the Permethrin. Is this enough? Or do we need to have one with the Pyretherins?
Thanks in advance for your help.
