No. I didn't forget. Take a look at an authoritative source, say
an American English dictionary. That's good enough for those of
us who speak American English --we're given a choice (perhaps we
created the choices) of how to pronounce it, and with that we
correctly choose the appropriate indefinite article to go with
it.
