[NHCOLL-L:1117] "Vikane" fumigant

Hello all,

Any herbariums out there who have employed the "Vikane" fumigant for
their botanical specimens?  A colleague of the dept. suggested that we
use this method of pest control.  If there are any who have used this
fumigant, I'd like to hear your experiences, opinions, etc.  We are
searching fo the best fumigant to use right now--- we've found some
dermestid frass and larval casings on a few mounted sheets and are
looking for the most efficient and safest pesticide that will not damage
our electronic equipment.
