[NHCOLL-L:1230] Butterfly Mount Clarification

Hi all,

Before I get blasted for exposing students to PDB, please let me clarify

myself.

Our butterfly mounts are used in a college setting and are usually
hidden
away in storage boxes. They currently reside in very old glass top
boxes
(mostly handmade) of a riker box type. They have been sealed without
any
pesticide of any kind for years and years.

I am simply inquiring on a better method prior to starting the project
of
replacing and/or repairing storage boxes. As we all know, limited
budgets
don't allow us to do things twice. If anyone has a better method of
pest
control than PDB -- please let me know. We have a very small collection
of
specimens (comparatively speaking) and virtually no budget.

Thanks much,
Kerrie
