Dear Hearts:
if it ain't broke, don't fix it. just wash the glass and get on down the
road of low budget. we have no budget here. as an antique, i like antique
things. there is nothing wrong with old methods of keeping things.
especially if there is nothing wrong with the specimens. let us not forget
our past in the process of educating the future.
i still have, and exhibit old equipment i used in the middle of the last
centruy. the kids are interested in what a crow quill pen and pen point
look like. and a real bottle of higgens india ink. although i have lost my
old old one with the cork stopper and applicator.
etc.
