[NHCOLL-L:1551] Display lighting

I am looking for information on internal lighting of display cases.  What
are the best, most cost effective options?  Is fluorescent lighting with
a UV filter sufficient to protect specimens (birds)?  Do fluorescent
lights in a sealed case generate enough heat to damage specimens?
