Cato, Curator of Collections with the San Diego Natural History Museum at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa for a six-day immersion workshop hosted by the University of Victoria's Cultural Resource Management Program from September 29 to October 4, 2003. This course explores current principles and practices in the management of natural history collections, and discusses the impacts of new technologies, diminished resources, and pressures for increased accountability, relevance, and access.
