Hi. Recently there was some discussion here about laser printing
labels for wet collections. I'm wondering if anyone else uses the
thermal printers like Alpha Systems. I know they work for ethanol
and I think also for formalin. I don't know that I've ever seen them
used for glycerin (cleared and stained specimens) or any of the more
exciting solutions such as Bouin's. Could they be used as an insert
into a tissue tube, or would that interfere with the tissue sample in some way?
Has anyone ever used them in solutions other than formalin or ethanol?
Greg
