Hi Greg,

We have been using a Datamax thermal printer with Alpha Systems
Preservation Tag stock and ribbon for almost a year now in our fish
and herp collections. We have sucessfully used these labels in a
variety of fluids including 50% isopropyl, 70% ethanol, 95% ethanol,
10% formalin, DMSO-EDTA tissue buffer and various glycerin solutions.
Thus far we have detected no problems with the labels in any of these
solutions. I currently stick such labels inside tissue vials along
with tissue samples and either 95% ethanol or DMSO-EDTA buffer.
