Subj: SPECIAL SURVEY ON MUSEUM CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN A MUSEUM BUILDING PROJECT:
All museum professionals who have been or will be involved in a
building project (e.g., addition, renovation, new building) between
2000 and 2015 are encouraged to participate in this survey. In
addition to basic information, the survey includes questions about
planning, developing the design, finances, fundraising,
communications, closings/openings, staffing and oversight, and
evaluation. The Museum Building Programs survey is being used to
gather data for the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museum's annual
"Building Museums" symposium. Please pass this message along to your
colleagues involved in museum construction projects.

DOWNLOAD THE QUESTIONS IN ADVANCE: This survey will take approximately
30 minutes to complete. We recommend that you download the complete
list of questions before completing the survey. Once you begin the
survey, you cannot save your answers and return at a later date.
