Jill,
An online resource she should check is the resources link
on the website for the Society for the Preservation of
Natural History Collections
<http://www.spnhc.org/?q=resources/index.html>. There
she'll find two lists of supplies and suppliers, one in
Canada <http://www.spnhc.org/files/supplies_cdn.pdf> and
the other in the US
<http://www.spnhc.org/files/RDU_handout__29_Jun_2006_.pdf>,
for materials currently used by museums for the storage
and preservation of natural history collections. Both
lists provide a variety of suppliers for mylar products.
Hopefully she'll find something useful.
