Subject: Support letters for Museo Historia Natural, UNMSM

Dear friends:

Thanks for all your efforts. I am happy to report that friday 19 meeting of
the council for the university decided to halt the ruinous plans for
constructing a 20 story building on the grounds of the Museum.
However, please be aware that the council has merely named a commission to
find an appropriate space for the university´s graduate program, without
excluding the Museum´s land. So, we must be vigilant.
Once again, thank you for your solidarity. Your messages to the university
authorities were crucial in helping us during this crisis. Allow me also to
declare that our community will be working harder for the development of the
Natural History Museum, and will continue studying and safeguarding its
scientific collections.
Sincerely,
Betty

Estimados amigos:
Atentamente,
Betty
