Description:



My research focuses on understanding the challenges that face the
preservation and growth of natural history collections in the 21st century,
as related to dwindling resources dedicated to collections care and
research, lack of public awareness of the scientific and cultural value of
collections, and insufficient coverage of this value in front-of-house
museum exhibits.



Results from this survey will be used to publish a snapshot of the current
state of collections advocacy in museum exhibits, including your level of
satisfaction with the in-house promotion of your profession and specimens
in your care. Your feedback is VERY IMPORTANT in bringing this document to
fruition.
