Hello
all,
I'm looking for some advice on dealing with new museum infestations.
Conservator and I have found new infestation in storage cabinets and stuffed
bird collections and we have tried to identify these pests and thought might be
kind of furniture beetles- but not so sure. I have attached few photos to be
able to identify types of pests and areas that have been infested. Our
museum is involved in the fumigation museum environment, unfortunately new
infestation appear with a rapid attack.
I'd be very interested to hear from anyone with experience of telling what type
of pests and measures to take both preventive and curative to overcome a
problem.
Here are photos showing museum infestations
