We are still in need of translators for the three letters we are working
on to deal with the validation problem.

We don't even have anyone to translate into 2 of the 3 official CITES
languages - Spanish and French.

We already have volunteers for

Korean
Japanese
Portuguese
Spanish
Swahili

Would really like to also have:

Literary Arabic
Malagasy
Ethiopia: Amharic
Bahasa
Standard Mandarin
Hungarian
Polish
Norwegian
Hebrew
Dutch
German
Ukrainian
Russian
Italian
Thai

There will be three letters and they will each be reviewed by people
with extensive CITES experience:

1. To every CITES management authority to encourage them to register
scientific institutions in their country.
2. To every CITES country on the standing committee, encouraging them
to suspend or revoke the validation requirement.
3. To every scientific institution in the country that would qualify
for registration, urging them to apply for registration.

Please volunteer and please share this e-mail with anyone you know who
might be willing to translate.
