[Nhcoll-l] ExCell Plus formalin alternative for larval fishes

We recently received a collection of larval fishes held in ExCell Plus. Nobody in our collection is familiar with this fixative and we'd rather not maintain these specimens in ExCell Plus long-term. We'd prefer to transfer them into the same buffered 10% formalin solution we keep the rest of our larval fishes for maintenance reasons. Here is a link to information about ExCell Plus (https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.americanmastertech.com_excell-5Fplus.htm&d=CwIFAg&c=-dg2m7zWuuDZ0MUcV7Sdqw&r=CLFZJ3fvGSmDp7xK1dNZfh6uGV_h-8NVlo3fXNoRNzI&m=d-wprOScqcw78h_tfrLaeF8uXJzXZCG15kROZeZDgFQ&s=t8hUH7vD7C-o2tWdPgmXSFD4d1SB0jMhzkUQCph6Faw&e= ). It is billed as an alternative to 10% formalin and the information here implies that specimens can be transferred to 10% formalin without a stepping process. Does anyone have experience with this fixative and/or have suggestions about transferring directly or stepping these into 10% formalin.
