We’ve used Herbarium Supply, University Products and St. Louis Box and Paper (https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__www.flmnh.ufl.edu_herbarium_methods_hmordering.htm&d=CwIGaQ&c=-dg2m7zWuuDZ0MUcV7Sdqw&r=CLFZJ3fvGSmDp7xK1dNZfh6uGV_h-8NVlo3fXNoRNzI&m=DJG5Qp70WPKr8DsqPO_copYJ4hczCgeSo5IVmrdDn6s&s=yToxmqbYFs0lvmE0XZNZ5EyGAAoZwzaWrNrDSA3iAM4&e= ). We shop for the best price. Sometimes there are sales with free shipping.

I think Herbarium Supply and University Products are the only companies that offer unbuffered paper. Conservators recommend unbuffered paper. I am conflicted on that. Many plants are acidic and I would think buffering would help counteract that and provide better paper longevity. Of course, buffering may alter the chemistry of the specimen.

We have been buying herbarium sheets from Pacific Papers, but they appear to have gone out of business.

Does anyone have a vendor that they would recommend?
