[Nhcoll-l] Guides for specimen management

Hi everyone,

We have a small teaching collection at Wilkes that is in terrible shape and
I am most worried about the specimens in jars. Eventually, though, I will
need to deal with the mammals and birds as well.

I have no experience with curation and I was wondering if there are some
books that you could recommend to get me started (e.g., how to identify
liquids, types of jars to use, etc).
