Greetings!

A quick request: Please share the attached information about an approaching December 29 deadline with any colleagues you might have in the US Virgin Islands. Once that deadline passes to submit a Request for Public Assistance (RPA), arts organizations and cultural institutions in the USVI will not be able to apply for Public Assistance. Even if an organization chooses not to accept an offer of federal disaster assistance - whether it be in the form of a Small Business Administration loan or FEMA's Public Assistance - it's important that they appear on someone's radar so we can help direct them to other recovery options.

It's been many months since you've heard from me. As we resurface after an incredible - and incredibly exhausting - summer and fall, it's time to pick up where we last left off following the August 1 HENTF member meeting. I'll be convening a conference call for all HENTF members in January. So stayed tuned. And thanks to all of you who have put so much effort into helping the cultural community respond to and recover from the recent disasters.
