Glass shell vials are cheaper and come in a wide range of sizes. We
store larvae (formalin) and small salamanders (ethanol) in vials with a
tuft of cotton inserted, stored in 32 oz or bottles filled with fluid.
This eliminates much risk of individual vials drying out, and should
solve breakage problems.
