[Nhcoll-l] New collections and management

Having worked with both situations, I much prefer fully incorporating new
collections. I find it easier to plan storage and keep things organized by
species. However, people have made plenty of somewhat decent arguments for
organizing things in many different ways. The most important thing though
is having a database that makes it easy to find and put away specimens, no
matter what organizational system you use. I ask myself, can a student put
something away for me without a lot of training, or is it so complicated
that I have to do it myself? ....I prefer to delegate if possible. ---Liath
