Hi all,
Could someone share a list of AOU numbers that would have been written on
eggs in oology collections in the late 1800's - early 1900's? From context,
I can infer that each number corresponded to a species, but my searches for
AOU numbers online only bring up the letter codes that AOU currently
publishes for species. A searchable digital copy of the list would be
ideal, but I'll take anything you can provide. Thanks!
Best,
Catherine
